Food Photography

I came hungry

I dig all things food and food related. Food, food stories, restaurants, food trucks (yum!), chefs, purveyors, farmers and winemakers. The trick is to transfer all the mouth-watering, taste bud teasing, freshness, zest, richness and color from the actual food to the images I create.

Bad food photography never goes unnoticed. For restaurants or brands it is the single deciding factor to nudge a potential customer closer to making a purchase or reservation. Capturing the perfect food image requires a lot of technical experience with lighting and props, a keen eye for styling and the right equipment. And of course loads of passion. I have photographed food for advertising campaigns, recipe books, food events, social content and menus.
